Verse 1
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
Transliteration tabbat yadā abī lahabin watabba
Czech Zhyňte obě ruce Abú Lahaba,a zhynul již i on!
Verse 2
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Transliteration mā aghnā ʿanhu māluhu wamā kasaba
Czech A nebylo mu k ničemu jmění jeho ani to, co si vysloužil,
Verse 3
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
Transliteration sayaṣlā nāran dhāta lahabin
Czech však hořet bude v ohni plném plamenů on
Verse 4
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
Transliteration wa-im'ra-atuhu ḥammālata l-ḥaṭabi
Czech i žena jeho, jež dříví palivové nosí
Verse 5
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
Transliteration fī jīdihā ḥablun min masadin
Czech a jíž kol hrdla provaz z vláken palmových visí.
