Verse 1

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ

Transliteration alam tara kayfa faʿala rabbuka bi-aṣḥābi l-fīli

Yoruba Ṣé o kò wòye sí bí Olúwa rẹ ti ṣe ọ̀rọ̀ ìjọ elérin ni?

Verse 2

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ

Transliteration alam yajʿal kaydahum fī taḍlīlin

Yoruba Ṣé kò sọ ète wọn di òfo àti anù bí?

Verse 3

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ

Transliteration wa-arsala ʿalayhim ṭayran abābīla

Yoruba Ó sì rán àwọn ẹyẹ níkọ̀níkọ̀ sí wọn.

Verse 4

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

Transliteration tarmīhim biḥijāratin min sijjīlin

Yoruba Wọ́n ń jù wọ́n ní òkúta amọ̀ (tó ti gbaná sára).

Verse 5

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍۭ

Transliteration fajaʿalahum kaʿaṣfin makūlin

Yoruba Ó sì sọ wọ́n di bíi pòpórò gbígbẹ tí ẹranko jẹ lájẹdàsílẹ̀.
