Verse 1

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

Transliteration qul huwa l-lahu aḥadun

Yoruba Sọ pé: “Òun ni Allāhu, Ọ̀kan ṣoṣo.

Verse 2

ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ

Transliteration al-lahu l-ṣamadu

Yoruba Allāhu ni Aṣíwájú tí ẹ̀dá ní bùkátà sí níbi jíjọ́sìn fún Un àti títọrọ oore ní ọ̀dọ̀ Rẹ̀, tí Òun kò sì ní bùkátà sí wọn ní ọ̀nà kan kan.

Verse 3

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

Transliteration lam yalid walam yūlad

Yoruba Kò bímọ. Wọn kò sì bí I.

Verse 4

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ

Transliteration walam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥadun

Yoruba Kò sì sí ẹnì kan kan tí ó jọ Ọ́.”1
