Verse 1
قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Transliteration qul huwa l-lahu aḥadun
Dutch Zeg: “Hij is Allah, de Enige.
Verse 2
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
Transliteration al-lahu l-ṣamadu
Dutch Allah is Zichzelf- genoeg, Eeuwig.
Verse 3
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
Transliteration lam yalid walam yūlad
Dutch Hij verwekte niet, noch werd Hij verwekt.
Verse 4
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
Transliteration walam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥadun
Dutch En niemand is Hem in enig opzicht gelijk.”
