Memorize Surah Al-Kawthar

Bismillah

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Transliteration bis'mi l-lahi l-raḥmāni l-raḥīmi

English In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

  1. بِسْمِbis'miIn (the) name
  2. ٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allah
  3. ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِl-raḥmānithe Most Gracious
  4. ٱلرَّحِيمِl-raḥīmithe Most Merciful

Verse 1

إِنَّآ أَعْطَيْنَـٰكَ ٱلْكَوْثَرَ

Transliteration innā aʿṭaynāka l-kawthara

English Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muḥammad], al-Kawthar.

  2. أَعْطَيْنَـٰكَaʿṭaynākaWe have given you
  3. ٱلْكَوْثَرَl-kawtharaAl-Kauthar

Verse 2

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنْحَرْ

Transliteration faṣalli lirabbika wa-in'ḥar

English So pray to your Lord and offer sacrifice [to Him alone].

  1. فَصَلِّfaṣalliSo pray
  2. لِرَبِّكَlirabbikato your Lord
  3. وَٱنْحَرْwa-in'ḥarand sacrifice

Verse 3

إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلْأَبْتَرُ

Transliteration inna shāni-aka huwa l-abtaru

English Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
