Memorize Surah An-Nas

Bismillah

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Transliteration bis'mi l-lahi l-raḥmāni l-raḥīmi

English In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

  1. بِسْمِbis'miIn (the) name
  2. ٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allah
  3. ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِl-raḥmānithe Most Gracious
  4. ٱلرَّحِيمِl-raḥīmithe Most Merciful

Verse 1

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ

Transliteration qul aʿūdhu birabbi l-nāsi

English Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

  1. قُلْqulSay
  2. أَعُوذُaʿūdhuI seek refuge
  3. بِرَبِّbirabbiin (the) Lord
  4. ٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) mankind

Verse 2

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ

Transliteration maliki l-nāsi

English The Sovereign of mankind,

  1. مَلِكِmaliki(The) King
  2. ٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) mankind

Verse 3

إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ

Transliteration ilāhi l-nāsi

English The God of mankind,

  1. إِلَـٰهِilāhi(The) God
  2. ٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) mankind

Verse 4

مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ

Transliteration min sharri l-waswāsi l-khanāsi

English From the evil of the retreating whisperer -

  1. مِنminFrom
  2. شَرِّsharri(the) evil
  3. ٱلْوَسْوَاسِl-waswāsi(of) the whisperer
  4. ٱلْخَنَّاسِl-khanāsithe one who withdraws

Verse 5

ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ

Transliteration alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūri l-nāsi

English Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -

  1. ٱلَّذِىalladhīThe one who
  2. يُوَسْوِسُyuwaswisuwhispers
  3. فِىfīin
  4. صُدُورِṣudūri(the) breasts
  5. ٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) mankind

Verse 6

مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ

Transliteration mina l-jinati wal-nāsi

English From among the jinn and mankind".
